Patricia

I look back at the road I've walked

And count the mercies I have known

In every quiet moment we have talked

You never left me walking on my own

I am a believer, standing in the light

Thankful for the grace that fills my days

Through the morning sun and through the night

My heart is overflowing with Your praise

Oh, the joy of the Lord is my strength

A well of hope that never will run dry

It carries me across the greatest length

And lifts my heavy spirit to the sky

Jesus, I thank You for all You have done

The joy of the Lord is my strength, my song

I see Your goodness in my family

In my children and the lives they build

Every grandchild is a gift to me

A cup of blessing that Your hand has filled

I am a believer, trusting in Your word

Thankful for this legacy of grace

Every single prayer that You have heard

Leads me to the beauty of Your face

Oh, the joy of the Lord is my strength

A well of hope that never will run dry

It carries me across the greatest length

And lifts my heavy spirit to the sky

Jesus, I thank You for all You have done

The joy of the Lord is my strength, my song

Faithful yesterday, faithful today

I will follow You, Jesus, the truth and the way

For all You have done, I will lift up my hands

My life is secure in Your beautiful plans

Oh, the joy of the Lord is my strength

A well of hope that never will run dry

It carries me across the greatest length

And lifts my heavy spirit to the sky

Jesus, I thank You for all You have done

The joy of the Lord is my strength, my song
