Brad and Julia

Brad and Julia, you held the line

Firm in your faith, but always kind

I remember the quiet talks we had

The steady voice of a mother and dad

You were strict but gentle, a careful hand

Teaching us how to firmly stand

You always told us to choose the right

When the shadows fall, let the truth be your light

You showed us the meaning of responsibility

And gave us the wisdom to clearly see

The lessons you loved are the ones we hold tight

Brad and Julia, you taught us to choose the right

We sat and we listened to what mattered most

Not worldly treasures or things we could boast

You wanted our hearts to be honest and true

And we learned how to walk just by watching you

Every rule that you made was a shelter from rain

A gentle protection, again and again

You always told us to choose the right

When the shadows fall, let the truth be your light

You showed us the meaning of responsibility

And gave us the wisdom to clearly see

The lessons you loved are the ones we hold tight

Brad and Julia, you taught us to choose the right

Now the years have passed and we're making our way

But the words that you spoke are still with us today

Like a hymn in the quiet, a compass inside

Your faithful devotion is still our guide

'Cause you always told us to choose the right

When the shadows fall, let the truth be your light

You showed us the meaning of responsibility

And gave us the wisdom to clearly see

The lessons you loved are the ones we hold tight

Brad and Julia, you taught us to choose the right

Yeah, you taught us to choose the right
