Tra

Sister Tra, you walk the road with open hands

Pointing weary travelers to the promised lands

A pastor and a friend when the shadows fall

Your gentle kind of caring is a light to all

You carry every burden with a quiet grace

Reflecting the compassion of the Savior's face

For He knows the plans He has for you

To prosper your steps and to see you through

A future and a hope that never ends

Just like the faithful love you show your friends

Lift your hands and let the spirit rise

The Lord is shining favor in your eyes

I still remember the power in the room we shared

On Pentecost Sunday, feeling every prayer

The wind of the Spirit moving through the place

And the steady, humble witness of your faith

You lead the congregation with a shepherd's heart

Tending to the broken, always doing your part

For He knows the plans He has for you

To prosper your steps and to see you through

A future and a hope that never ends

Just like the faithful love you show your friends

Lift your hands and let the spirit rise

The Lord is shining favor in your eyes

You pour out your soul, you give everything

To lift up the name of the Heavenly King

So we pray a blessing on your life today

May the words of Jeremiah light up your way

The plans are for peace, they are not for harm

Resting forever in the Father's arms

For He knows the plans He has for you

To prosper your steps and to see you through

A future and a hope that never ends

Just like the faithful love you show your friends

Lift your hands, Tra, let the spirit rise

The Lord is shining favor in your eyes
