Maximus

It’s been almost three years since we started this ride

And every single morning, I’m so glad you're by my side

Maximus, you're the steady ground beneath my feet

With a patient heart that makes this life so sweet

You're kind and you're loving in all that you do

I count my lucky stars that I'm walking with you

'Cause I love you more than life, I swear it's true

There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you

You're an amazing father, my safe place to fall

You're the rock of this house, standing strong through it all

And as the seasons change and the skies turn blue

I can't wait to watch our family grow with you

I look back on the days when we welcomed our kids

The way you held them gently, the caring things you did

You never lose your temper, you never lose your grace

You just put a little smile on everybody's face

You're the man of my dreams and the heart of this home

With you holding my hand, I am never alone

'Cause I love you more than life, I swear it's true

There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you

You're an amazing father, my safe place to fall

You're the rock of this house, standing strong through it all

And as the seasons change and the skies turn blue

I can't wait to watch our family grow with you

Almost three years together, but we're just getting started

Building up a life where we're never heavy-hearted

And looking at the future, my absolute favorite vision

Is making room for our new littlest addition

'Cause I love you more than life, I swear it's true

There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you

You're an amazing father, my safe place to fall

You're the rock of this house, standing strong through it all

With a brand new baby and a love so true

Maximus, I can't wait to watch our family grow with you

Yeah, I can't wait to watch our family grow with you
