Kevin

Working that EMS, pulling the shift

I didn't know heaven was sending a gift

The elevator opened, you stepped off the car

And those handsome blue eyes walked away with my heart

You were so gentle, but steady and tough

One look at you, and I knew it was love

Kevin, you're strong and you're fiercely protective

A God-fearing man with a tender affection

You keep me laughing whatever we go through

It's always, and only, you babe, just you

Forever and always, only you

Trading the sirens for trips to the beach

With the sun on our shoulders and the waves in our reach

We walk down the shoreline, footprints in the sand

I feel so safe when you're holding my hand

You're so determined in all that you do

But you always make time for a laugh with me too

Kevin, you're strong and you're fiercely protective

A God-fearing man with a tender affection

You keep me laughing whatever we go through

It's always, and only, you babe, just you

Forever and always, only you

You're my shelter, my husband, my rock in the storm

With a love that is faithful and a heart that is warm

I thank the Lord for the day that we met

That moment is one I will never forget

'Cause Kevin, you're strong and you're fiercely protective

A God-fearing man with a tender affection

You keep me laughing whatever we go through

It's always, and only, you babe, just you

Yeah, it's always, and only, you babe, just you
