Ava

We were walking through the shadows, carrying the weight

Down at the bottom, just leaving it to fate

I was running on empty, and you were hurting too

But the heavy clouds broke the moment I found you

We reached out in the dark and we started to climb

Leaving all the heartache and the hard days behind

Oh, Ava, you’re my honey bunny bunch

You’re my sweetie peetie pie, the one I love so much

You’re my darling, you’re my dearest, it’s no secret why

Ava, you’re the apple of my eye

You have a generous heart, giving all that you can

You’re so funny and so loving, you understand this man

I know that I can trust you when the highway gets steep

You're the rock that I lean on, the promise I keep

Every time I stumble, you’re right there with a smile

Making every single minute of this life worthwhile

Oh, Ava, you’re my honey bunny bunch

You’re my sweetie peetie pie, the one I love so much

You’re my darling, you’re my dearest, it’s no secret why

Ava, you’re the apple of my eye

We started in the valley, we were down in the dirt

But we lifted each other right out of the hurt

Now we’re standing in the light of a brand new sun

We built it all together, and we've only just begun

Oh, Ava, you’re my honey bunny bunch

You’re my sweetie peetie pie, the one I love so much

You’re my darling, you’re my dearest, it’s no secret why

Ava, you’re the apple of my eye

Yeah, you’re my darling, you’re my dearest, reaching up to the sky

Ava, you’re the apple of my eye
