Richie

We started out just laughing in the dark

My very best friend, quietly stealing my heart

With your creative mind and your funny ways

You brought the light into all of my days

I didn't see it coming, but the feeling just grew

Now I am so deeply in love with you

Richie, I choose you every single day

I promise I will never walk away

Even when we face the most difficult days

I'll stay right here in your warm embrace

You're strong and protective, my safest place

I choose you, Richie, every single day

I know you can be stubborn, setting your mind

But a more loving heart, I could never find

You're loyal to the core, standing by my side

With you, there is nothing I ever need to hide

From the friend I relied on, to the man I adore

Every morning I wake up and love you more

Richie, I choose you every single day

I promise I will never walk away

Even when we face the most difficult days

I'll stay right here in your warm embrace

You're strong and protective, my safest place

I choose you, Richie, every single day

When the road gets heavy and the shadows fall

I won't let go, we're gonna face it all

I promise to never give up on us

We built this love on a beautiful trust

You were my beginning, you're my endless end

My forever love and my best friend

Richie, I choose you every single day

I promise I will never walk away

Even when we face the most difficult days

I'll stay right here in your warm embrace

You're strong and protective, my safest place

I choose you, Richie, every single day
