Chris

You're focused on your health and lifting weights

You work so hard to build a steady home

You carry every burden that it takes

So we don't have to face the world alone

You're handsome and protective, standing tall

My quiet, steady anchor through it all

Chris, I will always have your back

I will always be your number one fan

Through the easy days and the heavy nights

I am holding onto my favorite man

As long as I am standing by your side

You never have to guess what real love feels like

I treasure every day I spend with you

And watch you give your heart to our two girls

I love to see your eyes light up

When Selina and Saylor spin your world

You're a wall of iron at the gym

But a tender father when you're holding them

Chris, I will always have your back

I will always be your number one fan

Through the easy days and the heavy nights

I am holding onto my favorite man

As long as I am standing by your side

You never have to guess what real love feels like

I could look into those pretty blue eyes for hours

Getting lost inside the safety of your stare

When you pull me close and wrap your arms around me

I know there's nothing that we cannot bear

Chris, I will always have your back

I will always be your number one fan

Through the easy days and the heavy nights

I am holding onto my favorite man

As long as I am standing by your side

You never have to guess what real love feels like
