Latonia

I remember the day that my whole world was new

My very firstborn, when God gave me you

Now we sit in the quiet, we talk and we share

Just laughing together, an answered prayer

I treasure the moments, the bond that we weave

The beauty of grace that you make me believe

Latonia, you mean the whole world to me

You hold a big place in my heart, completely

I will always love you, wherever you roam

In my heart, you will always have a home

My beautiful daughter, my gift from above

Wrapped in His mercy and filled with His love

You pour out your kindness on family and friends

With a deep, godly spirit that just never ends

Full of compassion, you shine in the dark

Carrying heaven right there in your heart

I watch how you live out the faith that you hold

Walking with God as your story unfolds

Latonia, you mean the whole world to me

You hold a big place in my heart, completely

I will always love you, wherever you roam

In my heart, you will always have a home

My beautiful daughter, my gift from above

Wrapped in His mercy and filled with His love

Every single day, you seek His face

Every single step, you walk in grace

I lift up my hands and I thank the Lord

For the daughter I am so grateful for

Through all of the laughter and tears we have known

I am so proud of the woman you've grown

Latonia, you mean the whole world to me

You hold a big place in my heart, completely

I will always love you, wherever you go

More than these simple words could ever show

My firstborn, my daughter, my gift from above

Forever and always, you have all my love
