Nadiine

Streamers were hung at the childcare place

A little fiesta, a smile on my face

My daughter was working, and you were there too

Nadiine, I had no clue what I'd find in you

We struck up a talking right out of the blue

And that's when a beautiful friendship just grew

Nadiine, you're a rare kind of soul

You keep me laughing, you make my heart whole

You're truly my best friend, through thick and through thin

I cherish this beautiful bond that we're in

I just want to tell you, so you finally see

Nadiine, you are so very special to me

I took a job at the center as well

More time together, more stories to tell

Between all the chaos, the work, and the play

Our friendship grew stronger day after day

A joke in the hallway, a look in the eye

We always found laughter as the hours went by

Nadiine, you're a rare kind of soul

You keep me laughing, you make my heart whole

You're truly my best friend, through thick and through thin

I cherish this beautiful bond that we're in

I just want to tell you, so you finally see

Nadiine, you are so very special to me

From a party with kids to the best friends around

I'm thankful for this deep connection we found

There is nobody like you, I want you to know

I'll be right beside you wherever we go

Nadiine, you're a rare kind of soul

You keep me laughing, you make my heart whole

You're truly my best friend, through thick and through thin

I cherish this beautiful bond that we're in

I just want to tell you, so you finally see

Nadiine, you are so very special to me
