Staci

Staci, you’re the one who keeps this family strong

Whenever we need a helping hand, it never takes you long

You pour your heart into us, you show it every day

With a warm and steady kindness that never fades away

You're the first to step right up when there is work to do

And I just count my lucky stars that I'm related to you.

'Cause I’m your big sister, and I’ve watched you grow

And there’s one simple truth that I need you to know

Through the beautiful chaos, through the highs and the lows

My love for you, Staci, just grows and grows

No matter where we wander, no matter what we do

Your big sister is always looking out for you.

But I haven't forgotten about that sunny afternoon

When you snuck up behind me a little too soon

You shoved me in the pool, I went sinking like a stone

Came up coughing water, soaked right to the bone

You might be laughing now, thinking you got away clean

But I must get revenge, if you know what I mean.

So watch your back, little sister, when we're near the deep end

'Cause payback is coming, I promise you, friend

But beneath all the teasing and the jokes that we play

I wouldn't trade our bond for a single day.

'Cause I’m your big sister, and I’ve watched you grow

And there’s one simple truth that I need you to know

Through the splashing and the laughter, through the highs and the lows

My love for you, Staci, just grows and grows

No matter where we wander, no matter what we do

Your big sister is always looking out for you.
