Jacob

I still remember that very first kiss

Didn't know it would lead to a love like this

Now we're snuggling close when the day is through

My favorite place is right here next to you

We've seen the shadows, we've walked through the rain

But you held my hand through the hardest of pain

Jacob, you're the one who understands

My best friend, a loyal and caring man

You're my soulmate, my rock, and my safe place to fall

I love you with everything within me, I give you my all

I love how you step up when the going gets tough

I could spend forever and not thank you enough

Through the good and the bad, on whatever track

You know I will always have your back

Late at night, firing up the four-wheeler

Kicking up dust in the dark, nothing sweeter

Then we're back at the house, just singing along

Dancing together to a living room song

You're so determined, you trust and you care

Whenever I stumble, I know you'll be there

We built a life from that very first spark

You're the absolute center of my heart

You're my soulmate, my rock, and my safe place to fall

I love you with everything within me, I give you my all

I love how you step up when the going gets tough

I could spend forever and not thank you enough

Through the good and the bad, on whatever track

You know I will always have your back

I watch how you love, I watch how you guide

The father you are fills me up with such pride

You step to the plate, you give it your all

Catching our world anytime it might fall

I appreciate the dad and the partner you are

My steady compass, my brightest star

Jacob, you're my soulmate, my safe place to fall

I love you with everything within me, I give you my all

I love how you step up when the going gets tough

I could spend forever and not thank you enough

Through the good and the bad, on whatever track

I will always love you, and I've got your back
