Will

We started out upon a friendly road

Just sharing laughs and lightening the load

I didn't know the way the story went

Or how much time I'd be so glad we spent

You always had a quick and clever mind

The smartest guy that I could ever find

Oh Will, looking back at the start

Meeting you was my favorite part

Of all of the moments that make up my life

You're the one that makes everything right

From cracking a joke to that handsome smile

I'm so glad we walked that extra mile

We started as friends, but look where we are

A slow-burning ember that turned to a star

You always know just how to make me laugh

Cutting all my heavy days in half

And every time I catch your handsome face

My beating heart picks up a faster pace

It wasn't a rush, it wasn't a race

Just two old friends falling into place

Oh Will, looking back at the start

Meeting you was my favorite part

Of all of the moments that make up my life

You're the one that makes everything right

From cracking a joke to that handsome smile

I'm so glad we walked that extra mile

We started as friends, but look where we are

A slow-burning ember that turned to a star

I couldn't tell you when the feeling changed

When all our history got rearranged

But suddenly the buddy that I knew

Was the only man I wanted to hold on to

Oh Will, looking back at the start

Meeting you was my favorite part

Of all of the moments that make up my life

You're the one that makes everything right

From cracking a joke to that handsome smile

I'm so glad we walked that extra mile

We started as friends, but look where we are

A slow-burning ember that turned to a star

Yeah, meeting you was my favorite part
