Brittany

Brittany, you've always walked your own straight line

An independent woman, I love to watch you shine

You've got a quiet strength that carries you through

And a heart of gold in everything you do

You stand on your own, you don't need to be told

Just a beautiful soul with a spirit so bold

I know your dad Gary is looking down tonight

Smiling at his daughter from the heavenly light

He sees the woman you've become, so steady and true

Brittany, he is so very proud of you

I still smile thinking 'bout that neon glow

Singing every word at the Toby Keith show

When the music rang out for the red, white, and blue

I saw that deep love for our veterans in you

You've always had a fire that nobody can tame

But you care for our heroes and honor their name

I know your dad Gary is looking down tonight

Smiling at his daughter from the heavenly light

He sees the woman you've become, so steady and true

Brittany, he is so very proud of you

When you're thanking a soldier who stood on the line

I know Gary is up there sending a sign

You carry his spirit, you carry his grace

I can see his reflection right there in your face

'Cause I know your dad Gary is looking down tonight

Smiling at his daughter from the heavenly light

He sees the woman you've become, so steady and true

Brittany, he is so very proud of you

Yeah, Brittany, he is so very proud of you
