Regina

Regina, you walk in and light up the room

Chasing away every shadow and gloom

With your bubbly spirit and outgoing heart

You've been my safe harbor right from the start

You have a patience I can't comprehend

More than a sister, you are my best friend

So here's to the endurance, the storms we ride through

I'm so glad I'm walking this journey with you

When life gets too heavy, we're keeping our cool

We hold the line steady, we know what to do

You bring the laughter, you carry the grace

My favorite sister, my favorite safe space

When we're sitting around and the stories begin

And Mom starts to talk, getting under our skin

We catch each other's eyes from across the room

A silent exchange to diffuse the boom

You crack a quick joke with a whisper so sly

You're the only reason that I can survive

So here's to the endurance, the storms we ride through

I'm so glad I'm walking this journey with you

When life gets too heavy, we're keeping our cool

We hold the line steady, we know what to do

You bring the laughter, you carry the grace

My favorite sister, my favorite safe space

Through all of the madness, the highs and the lows

The way that we lean on each other just grows

You never lose your spark, you never lose your heart

You keep us together when things fall apart

So here's to the endurance, the storms we ride through

I'm so glad I'm walking this journey with you

When life gets too heavy, we're keeping our cool

We hold the line steady, we know what to do

You bring the laughter, you carry the grace

Regina, my sister, my favorite safe space
