Grandma Linda

Walking through your front door, I feel the warmth inside

You are always there for me, my comfort and my guide

Grandma Linda, you're so nice in everything you do

Treating people with respect, so steady and so true

Always quick to lend a hand and help me through the day

I just want to take this time to turn to you and say

I love you so much, more than words can hold

You have a beautiful spirit and a heart of gold

From the safety of your home to the memories we share

Grandma Linda, I know you always care

I love you so much, it's true

I think about the summer days out by the water's edge

Laughing by the swimming pool, standing on the steps

Splashing in the cool blue, smiling in the sun

Just being there together was always so much fun

You're always there to help me, no matter what I need

Showing me what kindness is in every word and deed

So gentle and respectful, you listen when I speak

You give me all the comfort that I could ever seek

Every time I'm at your house, I know I'm not alone

Because your open arms are what I call my home

I love you so much, more than words can hold

You have a beautiful spirit and a heart of gold

From the safety of your home to the memories we share

Grandma Linda, I know you always care

I love you so much, it's true

Grandma Linda, I love you
