Thomas

We met right at a turning point in our lives

Two hearts looking for a brand new start

We found our peace down by the water

And quiet moments walking through the park

Thomas, you brought the calm I was needing

With every conversation pulling me in

I knew right then, as the river was moving

This was exactly where my life would begin

'Cause love is patient and love is kind

It protects, it trusts, it leaves pride behind

I want you to know, I want you to see

What First Corinthians means to you and me

Through every season, through every phase

Thomas, my love for you never changes

I could listen to you talk for hours on end

My handsome lover and my wisest friend

You are the strong one I lean on when I fall

Especially when you smile and call me butterball

Your loving spirit is a beautiful thing

You give me the shelter that a true love brings

I look in your eyes and I already know

This is a feeling I will never let go

'Cause love is patient and love is kind

It protects, it trusts, it leaves pride behind

I want you to know, I want you to see

What First Corinthians means to you and me

Through every season, through every phase

Thomas, my love for you never changes

Love bears all things, it believes and it hopes

It’s the anchor we hold when we’re at the ropes

It never fails, and it never will fade

I'm standing right here in the promise we made

No matter the weather, no matter the test

With you by my side, I am truly blessed

'Cause love is patient and love is kind

It protects, it trusts, it leaves pride behind

I want you to know, I want you to see

What First Corinthians means to you and me

Through every season, through every phase

Thomas, my love for you never changes

Yeah, my love for you never changes
