Terry

I wake up every morning by your side

And feel a sense of overwhelming pride

You're patient and you're loving, always kind

The gentlest soul that I could ever find

You understand the words I cannot say

I count my blessings for you every day

Oh Terry, I love you with all of my heart

I thank God in heaven for playing His part

For bringing us together and making us one

You're my shelter in the rain, you're my morning sun

I truly appreciate all that you do

Time is a gift when I'm spending it with you

When life gets heavy and the world spins fast

You have a quiet strength that's built to last

I look at you and see the man you've always been

My faithful husband and my closest friend

Through every single season, high or low

Your tender, loving nature seems to grow

Oh Terry, I love you with all of my heart

I thank God in heaven for playing His part

For bringing us together and making us one

You're my shelter in the rain, you're my morning sun

I truly appreciate all that you do

Time is a gift when I'm spending it with you

I didn't know an earthly love could feel so much like grace

Until the day I found my home inside your warm embrace

The Lord looked down and knew exactly what my life would need

He gave me you, and answered every prayer I'd ever plead

Oh Terry, I love you with all of my heart

I thank God in heaven for playing His part

For bringing us together and making us one

You're my shelter in the rain, you're my morning sun

I truly appreciate all that you do

Time is a gift when I'm spending it with you

Yes, every day is a gift from God with you
