Richard

I remember the park, the quiet and the breeze

When you kissed my forehead and put my soul at ease

Riding around in the passenger seat of your truck

I knew right then it was grace, it wasn't just luck

Looking beside me as the miles rolled by

I saw the Lord's promise right there in your eye

Richard, you are my answered prayer

My person, my heartbeat, the breath in my air

God brought us together to make us both whole

And anchored your spirit right into my soul

I love you more than words could ever express

I love you infinity, I am so blessed

I watch you work so hard, with a faith that runs deep

Your love for the Lord is a promise you keep

You always make me laugh, your mind is so bright

You lead us through darkness with a heavenly light

From stopping for doggies to the turtles you see

I love the tender way that you always love me

Richard, you are my answered prayer

My person, my heartbeat, the breath in my air

God brought us together to make us both whole

And anchored your spirit right into my soul

I love you more than words could ever express

I love you infinity, I am so blessed

We’ve walked through the valleys and weathered the rain

Struggling together through shadows and pain

But every new season and trial we survive

Just makes us much stronger and keeps us alive

Experiencing life, taking all the new steps

I'm holding the greatest gift God ever kept

Richard, you are my answered prayer

My person, my heartbeat, the breath in my air

God brought us together to make us both whole

And anchored your spirit right into my soul

I love you more than words could ever express

I love you infinity, I am so blessed
