DONNA

Seven years between us, but we share the same sweet day

Blowing out the candles as the seasons slip away

Donna, you’re so beautiful, a caring, gentle soul

But you're fierce when you protect me, and you make my spirit whole

Oh, look what God done in us, sister of mine

Tying our two stories up in one design

You’re an amazing blessing I can always trust

When I count my mercies, I look what God done in us

Every little moment that we share is sacred ground

Just sitting close together while the world is spinning round

You always have a shoulder when the tears begin to fall

Through the highs and lows of life, you help me through it all

Oh, look what God done in us, sister of mine

Tying our two stories up in one design

You’re an amazing blessing I can always trust

When I count my mercies, I look what God done in us

Two lives on one calendar, a miracle of grace

I see the Lord's reflection when I look into your face

You’ve always been my shelter when the heavy winds would blow

And I just need to sing this so that you will always know

Oh, look what God done in us, sister of mine

Tying our two stories up in one design

You’re an amazing blessing I can always trust

When I count my mercies, I look what God done in us

Yeah, Donna, I just smile and look what God done in us
