Sean

Twenty-seven years ago, walking through those workplace doors

I didn't know the plans He had, or what the future held in store

But twenty-five years of marriage now, and a family of our own

Sean, you are the steady rock of the life that we have grown

You built this house on laughter, you built this home on grace

With a quiet kind of wisdom in every season we embrace

Because God drives the bus, He's the one who leads the way

He provides for all our needs every single day

Through the triumphs and the trials, through the beautiful and hard

We are resting in the Keeper of the stars

Yeah, we trust the Keeper of the stars

You wear so many different hats, a father and a son

A grandpa with a gentle heart, always bringing out the fun

You give without a second thought, supportive and so kind

A loving family man with the Lord upon your mind

You carry all our burdens, but you never walk alone

You let the Maker's guiding hand direct the path we're on

Because God drives the bus, He's the one who leads the way

He provides for all our needs every single day

Through the triumphs and the trials, through the beautiful and hard

We are resting in the Keeper of the stars

Yeah, we trust the Keeper of the stars

You teach us how to bow our heads, you show us how to pray

Reflecting all His goodness in your quiet, humble way

We lift our hands in gratitude for the man that you've become

And the faith that keeps us anchored till the journey here is done

Oh, God drives the bus, He's the one who leads the way

He provides for all our needs every single day

Through the triumphs and the trials, through the beautiful and hard

We are resting in the Keeper of the stars

Sean, you point us to the Keeper of the stars

We are held by the Keeper of the stars
