Donald

We parked the RV out under the trees

Moved out to the forest, just chasing the breeze

I know you work hard to provide for us all

Catching the pieces whenever they fall

It’s a wild way to live, but I know we’ll survive

As long as you're keeping this family alive

Oh, Donald, you always do your best

Even when the hard times put us to the test

It isn't always easy, but you always provide

With that funny, crazy spirit right here by my side

Through every wild turn and the stars up above

We just want to thank you, and send you our love

I still have to smile at that old 379

That Peterbilt you bought, thinking it would run fine

With the I-frame heavy, you gave it your word

Turned out to be a big, beautiful turd

But I know you meant well, trying to give us the world

Just watching another crazy idea get unfurled

Oh, Donald, you always do your best

Even when the hard times put us to the test

It isn't always easy, but you always provide

With that funny, crazy spirit right here by my side

Through every wild turn and the stars up above

We just want to thank you, and send you our love

You're funny, you're crazy, you're so full of love

When the road gets too steep, you're the one stepping up

Out here in the woods, it's a beautiful life

And I'm proud to be standing beside you as your wife

Oh, Donald, you always do your best

Even when the hard times put us to the test

It isn't always easy, but you always provide

With that funny, crazy spirit right here by my side

Through the Peterbilt days and the forest above

We will survive, and we send you our love

Yeah, we send you our love
