Monica

Monica, you've got a spirit that shines

A one-of-a-kind soul that's so hard to find

You carry a heart that is open and wide

Lifting us up, standing right by our side

I look at the grace in the things that you do

So many people are leaning on you

Thank you for being a beautiful friend

A one-of-a-kind bond that won't ever end

Never forget just how amazing you are

I am so proud you have made it this far

Look at the love and the light that you send

Thank you for being a beautiful friend

I still remember the sweet words you said

"Thank you for being my friend," and I shed

A happy tear when your baby was born

You told me how joyful you are, safe and warm

You moved away from the bad in the past

So your new life could begin at last

Thank you for being a beautiful friend

A one-of-a-kind bond that won't ever end

Never forget just how amazing you are

I am so proud you have made it this far

Look at the love and the light that you send

Thank you for being a beautiful friend

You left the shadows, you stepped in the sun

Look at the beautiful things you have done

Keep up the amazing work that you do

There's nobody else with a spirit so true

You found your joy, you found your peace

A kind of happiness that's never gonna cease

So thank you for being a beautiful friend

A one-of-a-kind bond that won't ever end

Never forget just how amazing you are

I am so proud you have made it this far

Look at the love and the light that you send

Monica, thank you for being my friend
