Paul

The night I walked into the auction, just stepping through the door

You were the auctioneer up there, holding down the floor

But the moment that you looked at me, the busy room stood still

I'll never forget the look in your eyes, and I know I never will

Paul, you are loved beyond what any words could explain

A feeling running through my heart, a spark I can't contain

From the warmth of your loving touch, I knew that it was true

I want this feeling to last forever, right here next to you

Before the night was over, we were standing side by side

Holding hands at the auction, with nowhere else to hide

Just being close beside you, feeling your warm embrace

I found everything I ever needed right there in that place

Paul, you are loved beyond what any words could explain

A feeling running through my heart, a spark I can't contain

From the warmth of your loving touch, I knew that it was true

I want this feeling to last forever, right here next to you

They were bidding on the items, trying to win a prize

But I had already won it all, just looking in your eyes

I want to keep this closeness, long after the gavel falls

Through every season of this life, I'm yours through it all

Paul, you are loved beyond what any words could explain

A feeling running through my heart, a spark I can't contain

From the warmth of your loving touch, I knew that it was true

I want this feeling to last forever, right here next to you

Going once, going twice, forever sold on you
