Jaide

Two years ago, the very first exchange

I felt a shift, I knew that things would change

It wasn't just a simple word or two

I saw the grace of Heaven working inside you

And in my own life, I could feel the spark

A guiding light breaking through the dark

A beautiful soul, a woman of His grace

A steady presence in a shifting space

Jaide, whenever you need a place to land

I'm right here, ready to reach out my hand

We're putting God at the center and the lead

This faithful bond is everything we need

We know His name, we hear the words He's spoken

A sacred tie that never will be broken

Through every season, whatever comes to be

I'm here for you, and I know you're here for me

This very month, we finally met face to face

Stepping together into a brand new place

We've been transformed since the day we started

Two mighty warriors, fierce and faithful-hearted

I cannot wait to see the friendship we will build

Watching His promises quietly fulfilled

Step by step, walking side by side

With the Holy Spirit as our guide

Jaide, whenever you need a place to land

I'm right here, ready to reach out my hand

We're putting God at the center and the lead

This faithful bond is everything we need

We know His name, we hear the words He's spoken

A sacred tie that never will be broken

Through every season, whatever comes to be

I'm here for you, and I know you're here for me

Isaiah fifty-two, verse six, the truth is clear

"Behold, it is I," the voice that draws us near

He said His people would surely know His name

And since He spoke, our lives are not the same

He forged this armor, He gave us the sword

A lasting friendship built upon the Lord

So Jaide, whenever you need a place to land

I'm right here, ready to reach out my hand

We're putting God at the center and the lead

This faithful bond is everything we need

We know His name, we hear the words He's spoken

"Behold, it is I," a promise never broken

Through every season, whatever comes to be

I'm here for you, and you are here for me
