Anastacia

We were sitting in a circle, trying to mend

Looking for a way for the hurting to end

I was just trying to keep my spirit alive

Then I saw the compassion shining in your eyes

Anastacia, you walked into my darkest space

And filled the room with a saving grace

You are the love of my life, the one I prayed for

The kind of gentle heart that I was made for

So patient and loving when the shadows fall

You're the beautiful miracle that saved it all

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

Anastacia, you are heaven to me

You’ve got a brilliant mind that understands my soul

And a sense of humor that makes me whole

When the steps get heavy and the days are long

You make me smile, you become my song

Smart and steady, you walk with me

Through every high and every valley

You are the love of my life, the one I prayed for

The kind of gentle heart that I was made for

So patient and loving when the shadows fall

You're the beautiful miracle that saved it all

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

Anastacia, you are heaven to me

From a room of recovery to a life made new

Every step of healing led me straight to you

Out of the ashes, we found the light

You are the love of my entire life

You are the love of my life, the one I prayed for

The kind of gentle heart that I was made for

So patient and loving when the shadows fall

You're the beautiful miracle that saved it all

I lift up my hands for the gift that I see

Anastacia, you are heaven to me

Yes, Anastacia, you are heaven to me
