Jeffrey

We both had our share of a broken past

Didn't know if love was ever meant to last

Then I found my plenty of fish in the sea

God knew exactly what He was doing for me

That very first date, you never walked away

Eight years this October, I still bless that day

You're funny and faithful, my rock and my guide

With you, Jeffrey, I've got nothing to hide

You are my soulmate, my stormbreaker

When the world gets heavy, you're my shelter here

I don't know the scriptures, but I know God has us

In this beautiful life, in this love we trust

We're a force to be reckoned with, hand in hand

Together we can conquer anything life has planned

My world changed for the better when you came my way

And I just love you more every single day

We faced the dark shadows of a stage four fight

A year of treatments, praying through the night

But our love and the Lord brought us into the clear

Now we're riding country roads with the music in our ear

Just talking for hours, watching the miles go by

Underneath a wide open, beautiful sky

And seeing how much Melanie loves you so

Fills me with the greatest pride I'll ever know

You are my soulmate, my stormbreaker

When the world gets heavy, you're my shelter here

I don't know the scriptures, but I know God has us

In this beautiful life, in this love we trust

We're a force to be reckoned with, hand in hand

Together we can conquer anything life has planned

My world changed for the better when you came my way

And I just love you more every single day

When the old trauma whispers and the fears start to rise

You calm every panic with the truth in your eyes

We were meant to be together, that's a simple fact

With God watching over, we're never looking back

Because you are my soulmate, my stormbreaker

God knew what He was doing when He brought you here

I don't know the scriptures, but I know God has us

In this beautiful life, in this love we trust

We're a force to be reckoned with, hand in hand

Together we can conquer anything life has planned

My world changed for the better when you came my way

Jeffrey, I love you more every single day
