Kitia

Lord, I thank You for the gift of this child

For a spirit so loving, so gentle and mild

Kitia, you shine with a heavenly grace

With so much kindness upon your face

You care for the people you meet every day

And bring so much beauty to all that you say

Kitia, I love you more than words can convey

I lift up my hands and to heaven I pray

May the Lord hold you close and lift you up higher

And grant you every one of your heart's desires

Walk in His love, let His peace overflow

Kitia, my daughter, I love you so

I cherish the hours we spend, you and me

Every place that we go is a sweet memory

Just walking together, right by your side

You fill up my spirit with joy and with pride

Through all of our journeys and time that we share

I see the reflection of God in your care

Kitia, I love you more than words can convey

I lift up my hands and to heaven I pray

May the Lord hold you close and lift you up higher

And grant you every one of your heart's desires

Walk in His love, let His peace overflow

Kitia, my daughter, I love you so

Keep seeking His presence in the morning light

He will guide your footsteps and make your path bright

You are so beautiful, inside and out

His blessing is on you, without a doubt

So trust in His goodness and trust in His plan

He holds your tomorrow right there in His hand

Oh Kitia, I love you more than words can convey

I lift up my hands and to heaven I pray

May the Lord hold you close and lift you up higher

And grant you every one of your heart's desires

Walk in His love, let His peace overflow

Kitia, my daughter, I love you so

Yes, I pray He gives you your heart's desires

Kitia, my daughter, I love you so
