You've got a sense of humor that can light a darkened room

I see the way you hold your little girl so tight

Making sure her world is safe, making sure it's right

I still think about that drive, just riding through the town

Me, you, and your brother, with the windows rolled down

Saw that girl we didn't really see eye to eye with then

So I hollered out the car door, shouting at her in the wind

"Enjoy that wind, ol' girl!" and we laughed until we cried

We still joke about it now, sitting side by side
