RJ

I count my blessings when I look at your face

RJ, you fill up this home with your grace

From the days of us playing out under the sun

I knew right away I was the lucky one

You’ve got a spirit that just wants to give

Showing this world how we’re meant to live

Oh, with a heart so big and a soul so kind

You’re the greatest treasure a father could find

Your sweet compassion outshines the sun

And no matter how fast the years may run

It will always be Dada and Son

Yes, it will always be Dada and Son

We take our time down by the water's edge

Casting our fishing lines over the ledge

I watch you wait with that peaceful smile

Making every single quiet moment worthwhile

You’re always so helpful, you care for the rest

Lord knows that knowing you leaves my life blessed

Oh, with a heart so big and a soul so kind

You’re the greatest treasure a father could find

Your sweet compassion outshines the sun

And no matter how fast the years may run

It will always be Dada and Son

Yes, it will always be Dada and Son

The seasons might roll like a river flows

But the bond that we share only deepens and grows

Keep walking in love, keep holding your ground

Wherever you are, sweet mercy is found

Lift up your head for the man you’ll become

But you'll never outgrow where your roots started from

Oh, with a heart so big and a soul so kind

You’re the greatest treasure a father could find

Your sweet compassion outshines the sun

And no matter how fast the years may run

It will always be Dada and Son

Praise God, it’s always Dada and Son

Forever and always, Dada and Son
