Joann

I look back to the very first day

The clouds broke open and the shadows gave way

When we first met, my spirit just knew

That a prayer was answered the moment I saw you

You brought a sweet peace to a weary space

And I saw my whole future right there in your face

Oh, Joann, you're gentle, kind, and loving

A beautiful blessing from the heavens above me

I'm lifting up my voice to say I love you

My beautiful fiancé, so pure and true

From the day we met until the end of time

Forever in my heart, I'm so glad you're mine

Now we're walking forward, hand in hand

Building the life that we always planned

Every single morning when I see your smile

I know every step has been so worthwhile

Your tender spirit is a guiding light

You make the heaviest burdens feel so light

Oh, Joann, you're gentle, kind, and loving

A beautiful blessing from the heavens above me

I'm lifting up my voice to say I love you

My beautiful fiancé, so pure and true

From the day we met until the end of time

Forever in my heart, I'm so glad you're mine

Hallelujah for the love we found!

With my feet planted on solid ground

I promise to cherish you all of my days

And lift you up in a song of praise

I am stepping into forever with you!

Oh, Joann, you're gentle, kind, and loving

A beautiful blessing from the heavens above me

I'm lifting up my voice to say I love you

My beautiful fiancé, so pure and true

From the day we met until the end of time

Forever in my heart, I'm so glad you're mine

Yes, forever in my heart, Joann, you're mine!
