It’s just the way I’ve learned to believe

Watching my children as they grew

Building a house on a faith that’s true

Sunday mornings, sitting in the pew

Going to church, just like we used to do

A family anchored in the Word

Trusting the promises we heard

I know the hands that hold where I've been

The Lord our God will never leave us

He is always with us, He walks beside us

I think of the mountains and the hiking trails

Where the wind blows sweet and the peace prevails

Camping out beneath the open sky

With my kids right there, watching time go by

Finding His presence everywhere

Through every season, through every year

I know the Spirit is always near
