Harper

The day that you came into this world

Was the very best day of my life

So precious, so handsome, so innocent

I held you so close through the night

Now I look at you, Harper, and see how you've grown

The most beautiful spirit that I've ever known

You are my hope, my drive, my purpose

I'm so proud of the young man you've become

I love you to the moon and back, ten trillion times

My beautiful, wonderful son

I love you so much, as you reach for the sky

Happy sixteenth birthday, bubs, spread your wings and fly

From exploring together and going on walks

To scavenger hunts and our everyday talks

Passing the plates on a Taco Tuesday night

Watching our movies and shows in the fading light

You're funny and smart, so polite and so kind

You've got a beautiful heart and a brilliant mind

You are my hope, my drive, my purpose

I'm so proud of the young man you've become

I love you to the moon and back, ten trillion times

My beautiful, wonderful son

I love you so much, as you reach for the sky

Happy sixteenth birthday, bubs, spread your wings and fly

I love watching you find your place in this world

Watching your beautiful future unfold

I just know you'll do amazing things in this life

So step out, my Harper, and step in the light

'Cause you are my hope, my drive, my purpose

I'm so proud of the young man you've become

I love you to the moon and back, ten trillion times

My beautiful, wonderful son

I love you so much, as you reach for the sky

Happy sixteenth birthday, bubs

Happy sixteenth birthday, bubs, you're the light of my life
