I’ve always been the one to pour my spirit out

Patient and helpful, that’s what I’m about

Friendly and wise, with a heart full of love

I'll do anything for someone when push comes to shove

But there came a season when my own strength was low

And I had to let go, and let the healing flow

Now I’m five years free, standing in the sun

God gave me a second chance, a new life has begun

I walked through the valley, but I didn't fear the dark

My children and my family kept the fire in my heart

Every little moment is a treasure to hold

Spending time with my grandkids, it never gets old

Their laughter is the rhythm that keeps my soul bright

A beautiful reminder I made it to the light

When the journey was heavy, my family was my guide
