Traishane & Dashanti

Bringing both of you into my life

Washed away the shadows and the strife

You changed the way I look at the world outside

And filled my spirit with a beautiful pride

Traishane and Dashanti, you're smart and you're kind

The purest kind of love that I could ever find

December 30th and July 5th

The days my heart truly started to live

I wouldn't change my life for nothing in the world

My amazing boy and my beautiful girl

Traishane and Dashanti, hear me when I say

I love you both equally, every single day

You're so protective of the family we share

Always showing me how much you really care

Such a loving bond that time could never erase

You put a permanent smile upon my face

I look at who you are and who you'll grow to be

And I just count the blessings right in front of me

December 30th and July 5th

The days my heart truly started to live

I wouldn't change my life for nothing in the world

My amazing boy and my beautiful girl

Traishane and Dashanti, hear me when I say

I love you both equally, every single day

If I had a million choices, I'd choose this path again

Through every single season, the sunshine and the rain

There's no measuring this feeling, it's a love that's split in two

Half of my heart for Traishane, and Dashanti, half for you

December 30th and July 5th

The days my heart truly started to live

I wouldn't change my life for nothing in the world

My amazing boy and my beautiful girl

Traishane and Dashanti, hear me when I say

I love you both equally, forever and a day
