Ashley

I was standing on that corner, looking down the avenue

When you pulled up in that Ford Ranger, and my whole world turned to you

We went on back to your place, and the rest just disappeared

I couldn't take my eyes off you, the feeling was so clear

It was love at first sight, back in twenty-fifteen

I knew right then and there I'd found my everyday queen

Ashley, you're the beauty in the sunset, the sparkle in my eyes

You'd give the shirt right off your back to a stranger passing by

My diamond and my better half, the best thing on this earth

Eleven years of loving you, and knowing what it's worth

You're the queen of my life, and we're still going strong

Right here by my side is exactly where you belong

We caused a little trouble, packed our bags and moved away

Virginia was a paradise, you loved it every day

But we moved back and let that crazy rebel spirit show

You socked your mama in the face and let the whole world know

The first time you got arrested, you just wore the biggest smile

No regrets in that first apartment, we were living wild

Ashley, you're the beauty in the sunset, the sparkle in my eyes

You'd give the shirt right off your back to a stranger passing by

My diamond and my better half, the best thing on this earth

Eleven years of loving you, and knowing what it's worth

You're the queen of my life, and we're still going strong

Right here by my side is exactly where you belong

Then came twenty-twenty-two, I was staring in your eyes

Standing at the altar, feeling all the tears arise

All that I could say was "I do," the best day of my life

I'd never take a second back since you became my wife

Ashley, you're the beauty in the sunset, the sparkle in my eyes

You'd give the shirt right off your back to a stranger passing by

My diamond and my better half, the best thing on this earth

Eleven years of loving you, and knowing what it's worth

You're the queen of my life, and we're still going strong

Right here by my side is exactly where you belong
