Charles

Charles, I still remember that exact space

The beautiful eyes on your handsome face

Just a Pizza Hut parking lot under the sky

But it changed our lives forever, you and I

It was just an ordinary day, nothing grand

But that was the moment my future began

I love you more than words can even start to explain

A love that is steady through sunshine and rain

You are compassionate, loving, and funny too

I am so lucky I get to hold you

I want you to know, in every single way

I love you more and more every day

Just a month later, we started to date

I knew right away it was a beautiful fate

Then we got married, two hearts tied as one

My wonderful husband, our life had begun

Now we have a baby, our family has grown

The sweetest adventure that I've ever known

I love you more than words can even start to explain

A love that is steady through sunshine and rain

You are compassionate, loving, and funny too

I am so lucky I get to hold you

I want you to know, in every single way

I love you more and more every day

When I look in those eyes, they still shine just as bright

As they did in that parking lot, changing my life

You're so handsome, you always know how to make me smile

You make every step of this journey worthwhile

I love you more than words can even start to explain

A love that is steady through sunshine and rain

You are compassionate, loving, and funny too

I am so lucky I get to hold you

I want you to know, in every single way

I love you more and more every day

Yeah, I love you, Charles, more and more every day
