Ashley Rose

You pour your heart into the ones you hold

A quiet kindness that never grows old

Ashley Rose, you're a steady light

Guiding your children through the day and night

You carry the weight with a gentle grace

And leave a little warmth in every place

You're a Proverbs 31 kind of soul

Clothed in strength, making broken things whole

A beautiful mother, a friend so true

And I just want to say, don't forget elephant shoe

Yeah, don't forget elephant shoe

Your hands are busy but your spirit is sweet

Standing so firm on your own two feet

More precious than rubies, that's what they say

And I see it in you every single day

You wipe away tears and you build them up strong

You're the melody in everybody's song

'Cause you're a Proverbs 31 kind of soul

Clothed in strength, making broken things whole

A beautiful mother, a friend so true

And I just want to say, don't forget elephant shoe

Yeah, don't forget elephant shoe

When the days get heavy and the hours run long

I hope you find a resting place inside this song

You give so much, always seeing it through

I am so lucky to have a friend like you

Ashley Rose, you're a Proverbs 31 soul

Clothed in strength, making broken things whole

A beautiful mother, a friend so true

So whatever you do, don't forget elephant shoe

Oh, Ashley Rose, don't forget elephant shoe
