Sarah

From the very first moment I looked in your face

I knew that my world had found its right place

God blessed me to be your mom from the start

And planted your little soul right in my heart

I held you so close, my little sweet pea

And promised to love you eternally

Now I look at the beautiful woman you are

So wise and independent, a bright shining star

You're caring and loving, with so much to give

I'm so proud of you, Sarah, and the life that you live

No matter the distance, whatever awaits

I love you, sweet pea, all the way to Heaven's gates

You stand on your own, so fiercely protective

With a passionate heart that beats wild and true

Through every new chapter and every perspective

I marvel at all of the things that you do

You carry a light that the whole world can see

But you'll always be that sweet baby to me

'Cause I look at the beautiful woman you are

So wise and independent, a bright shining star

You're caring and loving, with so much to give

I'm so proud of you, Sarah, and the life that you live

No matter the distance, whatever awaits

I love you, sweet pea, all the way to Heaven's gates

For the Lord knows the plans that He has for your days

To prosper and keep you from harm in His ways

To give you a hope and a future so bright

Just trust in His promise to guide you in light

When I look at the beautiful woman you are

So wise and independent, my bright shining star

You're caring and loving, with so much to give

I'm so proud of you, Sarah, and the life that you live

Through all of your journeys, whatever awaits

I love you, sweet pea, all the way to Heaven's gates
