Vickie

When I needed some shelter, you opened your door

Gave me a room when I was tired and worn

I look at you, sister, and I know that it's true

Heaven sent down an angel when they gave me you

You're the nicest soul that I've ever known

You took my heavy spirit and made it a home

Oh, Vickie, you're my light in the dark

You've got a beautiful mind and a generous spark

I'm singing it loud, let the music take over

Sister, you know that you are Boomdocker

Right by my side, through the highs and the lows

An angel from heaven, the nicest I know

We step out in the evening, the rhythm is right

Listening to live jazz on a beautiful night

The horns and the keys, the melodies play

Those sweet concert memories wash my worries away

Then we head back, and she's right at the door

Your cat purring loud, walking soft on the floor

She loves you so much, and you love her too

It's just a reflection of the goodness in you

Oh, Vickie, you're my light in the dark

You've got a beautiful mind and a generous spark

I'm singing it loud, let the music take over

Sister, you know that you are Boomdocker

Right by my side, through the highs and the lows

An angel from heaven, the nicest I know

You gave me a roof, you gave me your time

You kept my head up when I was falling behind

Not just my sister, you're my saving grace

You put a permanent smile right here on my face

Oh, Vickie, you're my light in the dark

You've got a beautiful mind and a generous spark

I'm singing it loud, let the music take over

Sister, you know that you are Boomdocker

Right by my side, through the highs and the lows

An angel from heaven, the nicest I know

Yeah, you are Boomdocker, the nicest I know
