Sharan

I still remember the day we said "I do"

Starting this journey, just me and you

We didn't know what the future would bring

We just had faith and a couple of rings

Looking back now at the time that has passed

I know why our love was destined to last

Sharan, you've been my anchor in the deep

The greatest promise I could ever keep

Through thirty-four years of the ups and the downs

Whenever I stumbled, you stayed around

Through everyday struggles, you’re still loving me

I'll treasure our love for eternity

Life wasn't always a smooth, easy ride

But I never worried with you by my side

When the everyday struggles were heavy to bear

I'd turn around, darling, and find you right there

You put up with me through the good and the bad

The truest companion a man ever had

Sharan, you've been my anchor in the deep

The greatest promise I could ever keep

Through thirty-four years of the ups and the downs

Whenever I stumbled, you stayed around

Through everyday struggles, you’re still loving me

I'll treasure our love for eternity

Time keeps on moving, the years slip away

But I love you more than our wedding day

I just want to tell you, as life carries on

With every tomorrow, my love just grows strong

Oh, Sharan, you've been my anchor in the deep

The greatest promise I could ever keep

Through thirty-four years of the ups and the downs

Whenever I stumbled, you stayed around

Through everyday struggles, you’re still loving me

I'll treasure our love for eternity
