Lisa .. little sister

Sleeping side by side when we were just kids

Different as could be in everything we did

But underneath it all, through the sun and the rain

Lisa, you and me, our hearts beat the same

You're my little sister, and my lifelong friend

I'll be standing by you until the very end

That's why I talk to God about you when I bow my head

I thank Him for my sister before I go to bed

I ask Him to heal your heart and bring you sweet peace

To show you the strength that you just can't see

You're a beautiful daughter of the Most High King

And Lisa, I love you more than anything

You have such a giving soul, you always share your light

Even in the shadows, you make the heavy moments bright

You're so much stronger than you think you are right now

I see all your beauty, and it makes me so proud

I know this life is hard and it takes a heavy toll

But you've got a spirit made of solid gold

That's why I talk to God about you when I bow my head

I thank Him for my sister before I go to bed

I ask Him to heal your heart and bring you sweet peace

To show you the strength that you just can't see

You're a beautiful daughter of the Most High King

And Lisa, I love you more than anything

Every time I tell Him just how much I care

I know that Heaven listens to a sister's prayer

May He wrap His arms around you when the tears start to fall

And remind you that His grace will carry you through it all

Yeah, I talk to God about you when I bow my head

I thank Him for my sister before I go to bed

I ask Him to heal your heart and bring you sweet peace

To show you the strength that you just can't see

You're a beautiful daughter of the Most High King

And Lisa, I love you more than anything

My little sister, you mean everything
