Chris

I see the way you hold this family together

A lovable heart with arms open wide

But I also know the heavy weight you carry

And the quiet battles that you fight inside

You’ve always been the rock that we can lean on

Through every single chapter we have read

'Cause you’re a fighter, pushing through the pain

Through the ups and downs, the sunshine and the rain

When the world gets heavy, you never walk away

You just find a little more strength for every day

I want you to know, no matter the test

Chris, I will love you til my last breath

When I look back on everything we’ve been through

I marvel at the courage that you show

Some days the hurting tries to pull you under

But you refuse to ever let us go

You wipe the shadows from your weary face

And meet every morning with a steady grace

'Cause you’re a fighter, pushing through the pain

Through the ups and downs, the sunshine and the rain

When the world gets heavy, you never walk away

You just find a little more strength for every day

I want you to know, no matter the test

Chris, I will love you til my last breath

I know the toll it takes to be this strong

I know the road we walk can feel so long

But you never gave up on us, not even once

You are the bravest man that I could ever love

Yeah, you’re a fighter, pushing through the pain

Through the ups and downs, the sunshine and the rain

When the world gets heavy, you never walk away

You just find a little more strength for every day

I want you to know, no matter the test

Chris, I will love you til my last breath

Yeah, I will love you til my last breath
