Lily

Lily, I know all the valleys where you had to stand alone

Through the hardships and the sorrow, when the pain cut to the bone

But you never let it break you, you refused to walk away

You kept pushing through the shadows just to find the light of day

You are loved beyond perfection, held within the Father’s hands

Every little thing you offer, Heaven sees and understands

When the world forgets to notice, when your quiet work is done

You are treasured in His image, a beloved, shining one

You are generous and helpful, with a warm and caring heart

Pouring out a sweet compassion, playing such a vital part

Even when your spirit’s tired, you still have the strength to be

A reflection of His kindness for the ones who cannot see

You are loved beyond perfection, held within the Father’s hands

Every little thing you offer, Heaven sees and understands

When the world forgets to notice, when your quiet work is done

You are treasured in His image, a beloved, shining one

So lay down your heavy burdens, let the Maker dry your tears

He was with you in the fire, He has counted all your years

You don't have to be quite perfect to be worthy of His grace

Lily, you are deeply cherished, resting in His holy space

You are loved beyond perfection, held within the Father’s hands

Every little thing you offer, Heaven sees and understands

When the world forgets to notice, when your quiet work is done

You are treasured in His image, a beloved, shining one

Yes, you're treasured in His image, Lily, His beloved one
