Nafessah

Nafessah, you walk in and light up the room

With a beautiful smile that chases the gloom

You always bring laughter, you bring us the cheer

With a joke and a joy that draws us all near

You reach out your hand to the people in need

Planting a blessing with every good seed

You're my precious daughter, a gift from above

Showing the whole world the meaning of love.

Oh, the Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want!

He’s guiding your footsteps and keeping you strong

By the still waters, He restores your soul

Nafessah, His spirit is making you whole

Goodness and mercy will follow your days

Lift up your hands and give Him the praise!

When somebody's hurting, you're right by their side

With a comforting word and your arms open wide

You carry a light that is shining so bright

Turning the heaviest shadows to light

Keep making us laugh, keep sharing your heart

The grace that you carry sets you apart

Whatever you need, just look to the sky

The Maker of heaven will always supply.

Oh, the Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want!

He’s guiding your footsteps and keeping you strong

By the still waters, He restores your soul

Nafessah, His spirit is making you whole

Goodness and mercy will follow your days

Lift up your hands and give Him the praise!

Even when you walk through the valley so deep

The Shepherd is watching, He guards His own sheep

He prepares a table right in front of your foes

He anoints your head, and your cup overflows!

Yes, your cup overflows with His favor and grace

There is no fear when you look in His face!

Oh, the Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want!

He’s guiding your footsteps and keeping you strong

By the still waters, He restores your soul

Nafessah, His spirit is making you whole

Goodness and mercy will follow your days

Lift up your hands and give Him the praise!

You shall not want for a thing, hallelujah!

Keep smiling, my daughter, His love is right through ya!
