Tae

I remember the night that we first met

I was young and a little bit scared

You were a brand new person in my world

And I didn't know how you cared

But it didn't take long for the ice to melt

With the patient, loving warmth I felt

Oh, Tae, you're the anchor in our lives

With a beautiful and giving heart

A wonderful daughter, a faithful wife

You've been a blessing from the start

A mother, a grandma, an aunt so true

But to me, you're the sister who pulls me through

And we all just want to say we love you

I remember the crowd at the class recital

And the butterflies in my chest

I was shaking there in the auditorium

Feeling put to the test

But you pulled me in and you held me tight

Said, "You got this," and made it right

Oh, Tae, you're the anchor in our lives

With a beautiful and giving heart

A wonderful daughter, a faithful wife

You've been a blessing from the start

A mother, a grandma, an aunt so true

But to me, you're the sister who pulls me through

And we all just want to say we love you

You wear so many hats with a quiet strength

Always giving us your time

For this family, you'd go any length

Just to help the people you love shine

You're the shoulder we all lean on when we're weak

And the gentle, guiding voice we seek

Oh, Tae, you're the anchor in our lives

With a beautiful and giving heart

A wonderful daughter, a faithful wife

You've been a blessing from the start

A mother, a grandma, an aunt so true

But to me, you're the sister who pulls me through

And we all just want to say we love you

Yeah, we love you, Tae.
