Josh

We met out on that front porch, a casual hello

Through my daughter's boyfriend, just taking it slow

I didn't know that evening, looking at your face

That I was finally stepping into my comfortable place

You still give me butterflies when you come around

But somehow you're the anchor that keeps me on the ground

Oh Josh, it’s the look in your eyes when you see me

The way you get excited, so open and so free

It’s the laughs and the hugs, and the way you show you care

Every time you pull me close, there's magic in the air

My heart just melts away whenever you are near

I love you, and I want to make that clear

I love laying right beside you when the day is through

There is nothing better than just waking up with you

Your kisses and your touch, they feel like a spell

You try so hard to show me, and baby I can tell

You put in the effort in the little things you do

And every single moment pulls me closer to you

Oh Josh, it’s the look in your eyes when you see me

The way you get excited, so open and so free

It’s the laughs and the hugs, and the way you show you care

Every time you pull me close, there's magic in the air

My heart just melts away whenever you are near

I love you, and I want to make that clear

It’s the magic in your hands, the warmth in your embrace

The way a single smile lights up your whole face

From that first porch introduction to the love we share today

You melt my heart completely, and I just want to say

Oh Josh, it’s the look in your eyes when you see me

The way you get excited, so open and so free

It’s the laughs and the hugs, and the way you show you care

Every time you pull me close, there's magic in the air

My heart just melts away whenever you are near

I love you, Josh, I'll always want you here
