Kenneth

Lord, I lift up my hands and I testify

For the blessing You brought right into my life

I asked for a partner to walk by my side

And You gave me Kenneth, my joy and my guide

I look at this man and I have to proclaim

Thank You, Father, for sending the rain

Thank You, God, for the gift of his heart

A beautiful marriage that You set apart

Oh, the way that he loves You, Lord, shines so bright

And the way that he loves me brings heaven to light

He’s a jewel from God, a treasure so rare

A beautiful answer to every prayer

I love him so dearly, my husband, my friend

With a faithful devotion that never will end

I lie down and sleep, and I wake up again

Because the Lord sustains me through the joy and the pain

I will not fear though tens of thousands assail

With God in our corner, our house will not fail

Kenneth stands by me, so steady and true

Reflecting the strength that comes down from You

We rest in Your promise, we walk in Your grace

With a peace in our spirit that nothing can shake

Oh, the way that he loves You, Lord, shines so bright

And the way that he loves me brings heaven to light

He’s a jewel from God, a treasure so rare

A beautiful answer to every prayer

I love him so dearly, my husband, my friend

With a faithful devotion that never will end

Thank You, Lord, for this man of faith

Who covers my spirit in Your holy grace

He’s a precious stone, he's a gift from above

I am so overwhelmed by the depth of his love

Hallelujah for Kenneth, the man that I need

Following Jesus wherever He leads!

Oh, the way that he loves You, Lord, shines so bright!

And the way that he loves me brings heaven to light!

He’s a jewel from God, a treasure so rare

A beautiful answer to every prayer

I love him so dearly, my husband, my friend

Thank You, God, for Kenneth, amen and amen!
