Madeline

Madeline, you have a spirit so kind

The sweetest protector a family could find

You stand like a watchman, defending our home

Making sure no one is walking alone

Your faith is an anchor, so steady and deep

A promise of grace that you faithfully keep

'Cause we are sisters by His holy blood

Born of the Spirit and raised in His love

He is our refuge, our fortress, our shield

In the shadow of the Almighty, we are healed

Psalm ninety-one is the truth that we pray

Madeline, He's covering you every day

I look back to the glory of twenty-thirteen

The most beautiful moment that we've ever seen

We bowed to the Savior and gave Him our all

We lifted our hands and we answered the call

Our lives changed forever, the darkness was gone

And side by side, we keep traveling on

'Cause we are sisters by His holy blood

Born of the Spirit and raised in His love

He is our refuge, our fortress, our shield

In the shadow of the Almighty, we are healed

Psalm ninety-one is the truth that we pray

Madeline, He's covering you every day

A thousand may fall, but it won't come near you

His angels are guarding the work that you do

You pray for our family, you stand in the gap

With the Word of the Lord resting right in your lap

Keep holding your faith, keep shining your light

Under His feathers, we're safe through the night

Yes, we are sisters by His holy blood

Born of the Spirit and raised in His love

He is our refuge, our fortress, our shield

In the shadow of the Almighty, we are healed

Psalm ninety-one is the truth that we pray

Madeline, He's covering you every day

Oh, He is covering you every day!
