Andy

I still read the letter that you wrote to me

A promise of devotion, plain as can be

You said you’d walk through lions just to keep me safe

You are my protector in every single space

Andy, you’re the rock I’m leaning on

So tender-hearted, and so very strong

You are my gentleman, a chivalrous soul

Giving me everything, making me whole

Going above and beyond in the life that we share

I am so safe in your constant care

I love you always, and forever I'll stay

With my sweet husband Andy, every single day

I think of the evenings I needed you there

You drew the warm water and washed my hair

Pampered and healed by the hands that provide

Then laughing at midnight with you by my side

Playing our video games in the dark

Watching M*A*S*H reruns, keeping the spark

You are my gentleman, a chivalrous soul

Giving me everything, making me whole

Going above and beyond in the life that we share

I am so safe in your constant care

I love you always, and forever I'll stay

With my sweet husband Andy, every single day

You go above and beyond when the days get long

Cleaning and caring, keeping us strong

A serving heart wrapped in a quiet grace

No one could ever take your place

You are my gentleman, a chivalrous soul

Giving me everything, making me whole

Going above and beyond in the life that we share

I am so safe in your constant care

I love you always, and forever I'll stay

With my sweet husband Andy, every single day

Yes, I love you always and forever, Andy.
